Wheatgrass juice is potent raw, living food. The grass itself comes from the common wheat plant (species triticum aestivum) when it is young, vibrant and full of rich green chlorophyll. When the grass is squeezed, a dark green liquid is expressed and this is called wheatgrass juice

Wheatgrass is used since ancient times for its nutritional and cleansing benefits of tissues, organs and cells.

It gives the body a wide range of factors such as fiber, protein, enzymes, amino acids, trace elements (iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium), and antioxidant vitamins (A, C, B12 and E. Wheatgrass juice helps to cleanse the body naturally, because of the high content of chlorophyll and nutrients.

Wheatgrass helps eliminate toxins from the body and speeds up cell regeneration. It 's a simple way to detoxify your body.
The benefits of wheat grass:
# Speed up the production of hemoglobin.
# Rebuilds the blood stream.
# Helps to heal wounds.
# Improves digestion.
# Cleans the liver.
# Purify the blood throughout the body.

The average dosage taken by consumers of wheatgrass is 3.5 grams (powder or tablets). Some also have a fresh-squeezed 30 ml shot once daily or for more therapeutic benefits a higher dose up to 2–4 oz (60 - 120 ml) taken 1-3 times per day on an empty stomach and before meals. For detoxification, some users may increase their intake to 3–4 times per day.
Growing wheat grass at home
Plastic trays, pans or clay pans of about 12-16 cm in diameter and 6 cm high are perfect to make it grow.

Partially fill the container of soil.
To plant, clean and wash the seeds and put them to soak overnight in water. Sow the seeds in a pot filled with soil the next day. Cover with a thin layer of soil to cover seeds.

The darkness helps the seeds to germinate quickly. Cover the pot with a newspaper or cloth and put it on the balcony. Remember to spray the seeds every day with a little water.

Continue to keep the pot covered until the green leaves sprout. After not cover more.
Water the plants gently but adequately.

In one week the grass will be sown about 16 cm high. Cut it with scissors about 1 cm above the ground. The grass will grow back within a week.

How to make juice:
Don't use a mixer, a food processor or a blender to make juice because the rapid movement of the blades oxidize chlorophyll and make the grass unusable.
The manual wheatgrass juicer is typically the best choice because it gives you the ability to control the speed of the process of extracting the juice. They are typical constructed of stainless steel and have a crank that sets the pressing of the wheatgrass in motion once you feed the wheatgrass into the feeder compartment.
